Takeshi "Take" Uemoto, 81, of Captain Cook, Hawaii, a retired postal clerk and bookkeeper, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Captain Cook. He is survived by wife Pearl; sons Stan and Elston; daughter Arlene Kikuchi; brother Allen; sisters Asami Ahana, Suemi Sakumoto, Setsuyo Fujino and Yoshie Tatami; and seven grand-children. Private services.
