Shepler Ward FitzGerald Jr., 92, of Honolulu, a retired Air Force colonel, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Coronado, Calif. He is survived by daughters Suzanne Betz and Lynn FitzGerald, stepsons Bill Logan and Preston Maginis, stepdaughter Robyn Duzendorf, companion Mary E. King, a grandchild and a great-grandchild. Graveside services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to the Hawaiian Humane Society.
