He is survived by wife Margaret Jean; sons Gregory Scott, Gordon Wayne, Richard Bitter Jr. and Jon Michael; daughter Sherill D. Hansen-Javier; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. Friday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kailua second ward. Casual attire.
