Sawako Kaneshiro, 76, of Hilo, a retired macadamia nut farmer, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Okinawa. She is survived by husband Shinichi; sons David and Robert; brother Yasuo Kinjo; sisters Teruko Miyasato, Yoshiko Higa, Sumiko Kinjo, Keiko Higa and Satoko Takara; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 10 a.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.
