Wataru Koji, 87, of Honokaa, Hawaii, a retired state carpenter and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died at home. He was born in Honokaa. He is survived by wife Nobuko, son Warren, daughter Lorraine Smith, brother Yoshio, sister Hanae Irie, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Saturday at Honokaa Hongwanji Mission. Services: 4 p.m. Casual attire.
