Peace Tan Kawahara, 96, of Honolulu, a Farrington High School teacher and producer of Oriental drama at the Honolulu Academy of Arts, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. She was born in Oakland, Calif. She is survived by sons Elvis and Wendell, sister Elaine T. Kau and a grandchild. Private services.
