FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Bernice (Bee) Anna Molmen
BERNICE (BEE) ANNA MOLMEN Was born January 20th, 1923 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Barbara Fessler nee Kirshner and Herman Fessler. She married Arman (Bernie) Molmen August 19th, 1941. She is the loving mother of four children: Arman Brian (Uncle aka, akabill) Molmen, Sandra Marie Skarda, Lyn Arna Mellon, and Steven Michael Molmen. She had a quiet, peaceful passing on February 27th, 2011. Bee is survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was an entrepreneur and as a sophomore high school student she purchased the concession stand at the Lake Street Theatre in Minneapolis where the curvaceous beautiful Bee was pursued by the tall, dark, handsome usher and college student, Arman Molmen. The devoted couple were married for fifty-two years until Arman's passing in 1993. As an Army Officer's wife, Bee lived many places before retiring in Hawaii. While in Hawaii she owned Ceramics by Bee, and made and sold Hawaiian motif angels through Liberty House and the Cathedral Gift Shop in Ala Moana Center. In 1989 she moved to Salem, Oregon where she began her quilting career in earnest, winning many awards and displaying her creations at quilting shows in and around Salem. Bee had a deep faith for Jesus Christ. Her walk with Christ was an inspiration to many. She was a fundamentally good person with humble beginnings having survived the Great American Depression without losing her belief in the American Dream through hard work, discipline, effort, and creativity. Her ethics never wavered.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
