Clifford Hiroshi "Hiro Boy" Kashiwabara, 74, of Honolulu, a retired U.S. Postal Service worker, died at Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Honolulu.
A special thanks to all the relatives and friends who came to see him and provided meals for the family and to Kiyono Au for being a wonderful caregiver. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff at Straub Hospital ICU for providing excellent care during his
hospitalization, especially his nurses, Rita and Toni.
He is survived by wife, Lillian S.; sons, Kurt T., Karl T. and Keith T. (Shelly); daughters, Kathy S. (Myles) Arakawa and Kim S. (Samuel) Kaaua; brother, Douglas K. (Jane); sisters, Nancy N. Nakamura and Bernice M. (Genkichi) Sugai; grandchildren, Jayson and Jared (Kara) Kashiwabara, Parker, Dawson, Landon and Denver Kaaua, Amber Kashiwabara, Myka and Kamy Arakawa, Arianna Joy; and great grandchildren, Kamaile and Halia Kaaua, Leilani Kaaua, Jalen and Jesse Kashiwabara.
Visitation: 12 noon, Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Celebration of Life: 1 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
