82F. Karl Teshima Jr., 74, of Kihei, Maui, a Maui Police Department assistant police chief, died at home. He was born in Wailuku. He is survived by wife Frances K.; son Frank K.; daughters Leni Tanabe, Heidi Lambert, Sonya Mauai, Minette Ngalu and Tehani Kama; brother Kurt; sisters Leni Rolfson and Meta Shannon; 34 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
