Tomeyo Nishimura-Furuya, 80, of Kaneohe, a retired teacher who worked most recently at Benjamin Parker Elementary School, died in Castle Medical Center. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by husband Howard J. Furuya, sons Chris A. and Dan H. Furuya, brother Katsuyoshi Nishimura, sister Masayo Fujikami and four grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Saturday at Parker United Methodist Church, 45-211 Waikalua Road, Kaneohe. Services: 5 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
