78Shizuko Okada, 88, of Kailua-Kona, a retired clerk at Fort Shafter, Kyo-ya Restaurant hostess and aide for City Councilman Dennis O’Connor, died in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Hana, Maui. She is survived by son Edgard, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at her residence, 73-1141 Mahi lani Drive, Kailua-Kona. Additional services: 10 a.m. April 2 at Diamond Head Mortuary, 529 18th Ave., Honolulu. Inurnment to follow. Casual attire. No flowers.
