JOY JEFFUS
Joy Jeffus made her transition on March 19, 2011. She was born January 15, 1933 in Ponca City, OK. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Dianne Loyall of OKC, son-in-law, Roger L. Loyall; and son, Stephen McFall of Knoxville, TN and 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sister Suzy Star of Oregon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Robert Henry Wenzel. She lived in New Jersey, Nigeria; Honolulu, and Santa Fe, before returning to OKC in 1994. During her 18-year life in Hawaii, Ms Jeffus was a well-known and respected real estate Broker and Instructor. She authored many courses in real estate and received several local and National honors, as well as a book on real estate contracts. She ran her own real estate post-licensing school and worked as an expert witness in several real estate lawsuits. Ms Jeffus wrote several articles, short stories and one book about her favorite cat, Starr. She was a keen observer of nature and often fed and housed stray cats. Ms Jeffus was cremated and her ashes will be scattered near Waikii Ranch on the Big Island of Hawaii. Arrangements under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home Edmond, OK.
