She is survived by her long time companion, Aileen Arakawa, her father, Jerry McKinney and sisters Denise Ellis, Annette Morey and 4 nieces. They reside in Oklahoma. Jo McKinney worked as a social worker for DHS, DOH, CFS and PACT. She received 2 Master's degrees in vocational rehab and social work. Private gathering will be held. No flowers or monetary gifts.
