Herbert Mun Git Chun, 82, of Kaneohe, a retired electrical planner-estimator with the Public Works Center at Pearl Harbor and an Army veteran, died in Hawaii Medical Center East. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Hanae; son Curtis; daughter Alison Shigenaga; brothers John, Kenneth, Benjamin and Harry; sisters Muriel Char and Mabel Medeiros; and four grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire.
