Leonardo Habon Cortez, 97, of Honolulu, a retired Hawaii Medical Center East maintenance employee, died. He was born in Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by wife Ciriaca A.; sons Leonardo A. and Melvin A.; daughters Armi Fong and Charlene Stern; brother Leopoldo; sisters Luciana and Magdalena Sanchez, and Asuncion Tejada; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Friday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Church, 2324 Omilo Lane.
