Gary Wendell Martin, 70, of Honolulu, a former ranch hand and deputy sheriff in Idaho, and a retired Fewell Geotechnical Engineering Inc. soils engineer, died in Hawaii Medical Center East. He was born in Blackfoot, Idaho. He is survived by sons Lance G., Lane G. and Lee G.; brother Donald; sisters Joanne Dixon, Maureen Quinn and Sandra Swanson; and nine grandchildren. Visitation: 1 p.m. Friday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 2 p.m. Aloha attire.
