He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Arline “Honey Girlâ€; sons John “Patrick,†Ernie, Brian, Joseph “Joe†III and Chad; daughters Theresa “Leimomi†Bell, Yvonne “Haunani†and Kayla Haili, Michele Kalauokalani and Chanda Vincent; sister Ann Stofel; 24 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Saturday at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 6:30 p.m. Casual attire. Lei welcome.
