Age 84, of Pahoa, HI, formerly of Honolulu, passed away March 10, 2011 in Pahoa. Born May 26, 1926 in Ewa, HI. He retired from Swift Independent Packing Company and Mapelli Brother's Company as a butcher; also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by wife, Jacqueline Yamashiro; sons, Calvin I. (Jennifer) Yamashiro, Glenn K. (Tracelyn) Yamashiro; daughter, Susan Schank; brother, Ted Yamashiro; sister, Thelma (Shige) Uyehara; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; step-sons, Antone (Albertha) Tavares III, Ivanhoe (Jenny) Tavares; step-daughter, Mary Ann (Robert) Glover; many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Visitation 9:30 a.m. Saturday (April 16) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. Burial 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire. Flowers Welcome.
