Anthony A. “Tony†Alcosiba Sr., 89, of Hilo, formerly of Papaikou, Hawaii, a Holmes & Narver employee, retired James W. Glover Inc. batch plant operator and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Amaulu, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Naomi K.L., sons Tony A. Alcosiba and Robert J. Marcos, hanai sons Kenneth L. Alcosiba and Patpong Chittkusol, daughters Alissa Kashiwada and Gale Camacho, sisters Lapaz Acidera and Rose Surigao, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Sunday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
