Shizue Akamine, 94, of Mililani, a retired Hickam Air Force Base distribution document clerk, died in Hale Malamalama. She was born in Kapaa, Kauai. She is survived by sons Stanley S., Wayne K. and Elroy K.; daughters Reiko Hashiro and Amy E. Toba; brothers Kenji and George Yamashiro; sisters Mildred H. Moriyama, Florence S. Hughes and Nancy K. Toyama; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private services.
