Elbert Gijiro Arakawa, 96, of Honolulu, a retired U.S. Postal Service supervisor and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Paia, Maui. He is survived by wife Grace; sons Glen and Charles; daughters Linette Arakawa and Marian Crocco; sisters Julette Nakashima, Rochelle Shimabuku and Lillian Yamanaka; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
