Arthur “Otto†Gaastra, 90, of Honaunau, Hawaii, a Marine Corps veteran who served in World War II and a carpenter, died. He was born in Grand Rapids, Mich. He is survived by hanai daughter Donna Peebles, brother George, sister Winifred Compagner, a grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Services: noon tomorrow at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery.
