78James Kazuyoshi Uemura, 96, of Honolulu, a retired service station owner, died at home. He was born in Wahiawa. He is survived by wife Margaret; sons Ron, Steve and Ken; daughter Jan Higa; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private services.
