Nifo Ala, 69, of Ewa Beach, an Army veteran, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Pago Pago, American Samoa. He is survived by wife Tato'i T.L.; sons Nifo Jr., Ionatana N., Ala N. and Nifo III; daughters Vaovai M., Va'ai and Aitulagi E.; brothers Frank and Sapatu; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 6 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Services: 6:30 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m. Tuesday. Committal services: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kane ohe. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
