Esther Masako Kawamae, 85, of Honolulu, a retired Kalihi-Palama Public Library technician, died at home. She was born in Ho-nolulu. She is survived by companion Kenneth Kunisaki, sons Stephen S. and Ivan M., daughter Gail Y. Youn, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private services.
