79James Steven Abreu, 71, of Hawaiian Paradise Park, Hawaii, formerly of Kona and Kauai, a retired construction laborer, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hanapepe, Kauai. He is survived by wife Margaret P.; sons Kimo Abreu, Michael “Kawika” Oliva Abreu and Robbie Tingcang; daughters Desi and Kimi Abreu, Shana Malen dres, Diana Abreu-Oliva, Della Lee Gutierrez and Janel Kamahele; brother Kenneth J.; sisters Nancy Clark and Geraldine Gerard; 20 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire.
