Gentaro Ota, 85, of Punaluu passed away at his home on March 31st 2011. He was retired from the City and County of Honolulu, Waste Water Division. He is survived by sister, Elsie Downing of Hilo, Nieces: Donna Dodd of Hilo and Sandy (Ron) Panzo of Maui and Nephews: Glen (Peggy) and Ronald Downing of Hilo. Services to be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park, Monday May 2, - Visitation - 11:00 am - 12:00; Service - 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Burial 2:00 pm.
