WILLIAM HENRY HALLAM
Passed away April 22, 2011
William Henry Hallam, 87, of St. Helena, CA, formerly of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away with family at his side in Napa, CA. Born and raised in Cherokee, KS, he was stationed at Mare Island in 1941 and was sent to Hawaii after the outbreak of World War II. He worked for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and the Navy Department in Hawaii for a total of 59 years of service from 1941-2000, including 2 years in the Army during WWII. A lifelong member of the Pearl Harbor Masonic Lodge. William and wife Myrtle moved to St. Helena in 2000 to be close to their grandchildren.
Myrtle Hallam his loving wife, a native of Hawaii, passed away in July 2004. William is survived by son Clark and granddaughters Audrey and Melissa.
Services will be held on Friday May 6th at the St. Helena Cemetery.
