A REMEMBERANCE
MICHAEL B. CUTLER
June 1941 - January 2011
Michael Cutler passed away in Vancouver, WA after a short illness. Formerly of Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii for 40 years, and born in Los Angeles, CA, he was a graduate of the University of Hawaii. Mike leaves wife Estelle, son Ari, daughters Alicia (Tom Labue) and April (Darin Lazzaro); greatest joys-grandkids Sofia and Max; sister Dorothy Ryan. Private services were conducted in Vancouver with planned private inurnment on Maui.
For many years he was an executive with Sears-Hawaii and worked with Cutler & Associates, Inc. and the Ashley HomeStore. His extensive interest in sports, and sailing, won him many local-Hawaii friends. Passionate knowledge and love of travel by auto, national parks, geography, geology, plate tectonics, vintage cars, football, and basketball made Mike a welcome resource among relatives and acquaintances both in Hawaii and on the mainland. Mike's natural ebullience and good cheer will be missed by his extended ohana of in-laws, many business associates and long-time friends.
