Shoichi Harada
April 23, 2011 Shoichi Harada, 88, of Honolulu, a retired Castle & Cooke and Hawaiian Tuna Packers weighmaster, and an Army veteran who served with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, 100th Battalion, Company B, died in Aloha Nursing & Rehab Centre. He was born in Mana, Kauai. He is survived by sons Walter S. Harada and Max W.Y. and Kirk K. Shinkawa; daughters Carol A. Yoshida, Ellen R. Chong, Renae K. Lamb, Barbara K. Pang-Chew, Alicia M. Kawasaki and Sharlene S. Yamaguchi; sister Doris M. Porter; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Wednesday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Inurnment: 10 a.m. next Thursday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
