Aurea Peros Tagorda, 71, of Kahului, a Hale Makua Kahului medical records technician, and past president of the Maui Filipino Community Council and Hawaii Diocesan Congress of Filipino Catholic Clubs, died at home. She was born in Santo Domingo, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She is survived by sons Reynold, Gene, Richard and Robert; daughter Leilani Badley; brothers Greg, James and Jesse Peros; sister Nenita Evangalista; and 13 grandchildren. Visitations: 6 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Services: 7 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 a.m Wednesday. Burial: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Maui Memorial Park.
