John L. McCaul, 85, of Bend, Ore., formerly of Kailua, a retired minister and educator, died at home. He was born in Jacksonville, Fla. He is survived by wife Mae; daughters Debbie Hill, Elaine Smith and Linda Whitley; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. No services. No flowers.
