William Balongkit Ponce, 77, of Waianae, an Army veteran and retired from the U.S. Army and federal civil service, died in St. Francis Hospice West. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Christine Cornwall-Ponce; sons Vernon and Guy Ceno and Ronald and Marc Cornwall; daughters Lea-Vien Burke and KaRena Bejarano; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
