George L. Young, Jr. of Kaneohe, a retired plumbing contractor & retired plumbing inspector died peacefully at home. He was a coach and member of various Hawaiian racing canoe clubs and a member of the Honolulu Elks 616. He is survived by wife Gwenie, son Thomas, hanai daughter Kimo (Mike) Apato, grandsons Tommy, Troy & Tyson, nephews, nieces and cousins. Celebration of his life at He'eia State Park Banquet Hall on Thursday, May 19 from 2 PM to 5 PM. Private inurnment, at a later date.
