76Michie “Mitchan” Murakami, 90, of Hilo, a retired Ben Franklin Store sales clerk, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Mountain View, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Shigeo; sons Dr. Glenn and Alan; daughters Renee Murakami and Kathleen Iwamoto; brothers Hideto, Ronald and Raymond Tatsuta; sisters Masako Nishikawa, Suemi Tanaka and Yaeko Lefeber; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Tuesday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 5 p.m. Casual attire.
