LaVerne Theresa Calonico, 85, of Kailua, a retired State of California employee, died in Honolulu. She was born in San Francisco. She is survived by husband Frederick, son Frederick Jr., daughter Karen Tam, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. today at St. Anthony’s of Padua Church in Kailua. Mass: 11 a.m. Inurnment to be held on the mainland at a later date. Aloha attire.
