FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Gerald Lee Foster
GERALD LEE FOSTER 75, of Kailua, who spent his life helping others, has passed away. For 20 years, Jerry was the unpaid director of Harbor House, an organization that fed 2,000 people a month on O'ahu. He also started Kids Kitchen, built homes and restaurants, was a chef, hosted a cooking show on television and at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, and started the 50th State Show Circus. He was a yachtsman for many years aboard Carousel. He "lived in Paradise" for 50 years. "He did not live life he DEVOURED IT" He is survived by his wife Sharon, sons Sid, Jerry Jr., Daniel and Michael, and daughter Kim. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 18th at Emmanuel Church in Kailua. Jerry's remains were donated to John Burns School of Medicine. Memorial donations can be made to Lima Kokua or your favorite charity. "May your spirit live and may you spend millions of years standing with your face to the wind, your two eyes beholding happiness."
