Albert Kuhio Shin, 83, of Hilo, a retired Hilo Coast Processing Co. supervisor, KTA Superstores deli department employee and Army veteran who served during WorldWar II, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honaunau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Clara P.; son Jeff; daughter Hope L. Koshiro; brothers John Kim, and George and Henry Shin; sister Bernice Paik; hanai sister Clara S. Nitta; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
