Gregory Abaya, 73, of Honolulu, a life insurance and real estate agent, funeral plan memorial sales counselor and Army National Guard private first class, died in Honolulu. He was born in Banayo, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by wife Frances A., daughter Marjorie Vidal, hanai son Robert Vidal, sisters Nora Escobar and Dominga Manog, and two grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Services: 6:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial: 11:30 a.m. at Valley of the Temples. No black attire.
