71 of Pearl City, passed away on May 13, 2011 at Pali Momi Medical Center. Born on July 24, 1939, in Makawao, Maui and graduated from Waipahu High School.
Bobby tended bar at Sarento's Top of the I and Aaron's (Nicholas Nickolas). Bobby touched the hearts of many with his kindness and generosity. Entertaining and putting a smile on everyone's face with MAGIC was his life. Bobby filled the world with MAGIC.
Bobby spent time volunteering charity events, teaching judo, wrestling and volley ball. Bobby sold ribbons and leis at Aloha Stadium.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosie Agnes Acoba; mother, Katie Acoba; Brothers, Edwardo "Eddie" Acoba and David Acoba; children, Jodee (David) Acoba-Suganuma, Jon Thomas Acoba, Riley Lewis Acoba of WA, Corey Ramon (Laura) of WA, Christine Rose Acoba and Grandson, Marc Kawika Suganuma.
Services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011, at Borthwick Mortuary, Maunakea/Vineyard Chapel. Visitation from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm; Wake-Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation also Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Borthwick Mortuary, Maunakea Chapel from 9:30 to 11:30 am; Prayer Service at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at 1:00 pm at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe.
