Philip Shigeo “Matsu†Matsuyama, 87, of Holualoa, Hawaii, a Chevron Hawaii truck driver and an Army veteran, died in Tripler Army Medical Center. He was born in Kealakekua, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Boyd and Dwight; hanai son Larry Nakamoto; companion Patsy Kawaoka; brothers Gary, Leo, Ned, Arthur and Roy; sisters Emma Ono, Florence Riese and Mae Bisbee; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Private services.
