Alfredo Sales "Al" Acierto, 68, of Honolulu, a Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard retiree, City Mill employee and Army and Air Force veteran who served in World War II, died in Aiea. He was born in Koloa, Kauai, He is survived by wife Maxima Eder "Lita," hanai son Emmanuel N. Eder, brother Contrado, sisters Gloria Rivera and Mary Link, and a hanai grandchild. Visitation: 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Philomena Church, 3300 Ala Laulani Place, Salt Lake. Services: 7 p.m. Friday. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Burial: 1:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Cas-ual attire. Flowers welcome.
