Miriam Kainoa Naula, 82, of Rancho Mirage, Calif., a retired sanitation engineer with the state Department of Transportation, Airports Division, died in Palm Springs, Calif. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Lepeka Jr., Milton and Melson; daughters Nettie L. Peiler and Marvalee Lopez; hanai sons Aaron Wong and Jessie F. Caseres; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
