Age 89, of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away May 9, 2011 in California. Born May 30, 1921 in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. Retired from Moana Surfrider Hotel, he was also employed at La Ronde Restaurant (Revolving Restaurant) and Macy's Gazebo Restaurant (Liberty House). Member of ILWU Local 5.
He is survived by sons, Jaime (Frances) Sapla Sr. of San Diego, Paul Sapla, George Sapla; daughters, Tanya Rabellisza, Helen Sapla; 16 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation 9:00 a.m. Tuesday (June 14) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. Burial 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire. Flowers Welcome.
