May 29, 2011 Kenneth Hitoshi “Mod” Maeda, 74, of Pearl City, a retired teacher and coach from Waianae, died in Pearl City. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Eleanor “Ellie”; son Kendall; daughter Mia Taise; brothers Richard, Howard and Calvin; sister Lillian Uyeda; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 4:30 p.m. Monday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire.
