72Harolyn Tomiko Kooistra, 77, of Keaau, Hawaii, a former teacher, died at home. She was born in Makawao, Maui. She is survived by husband John, son Morey, daughters Heidi Standley and Jocelyn Kooistra, brother Robert Higa, sisters Lorraine Arakaki and Jean Uchima, and two grandchildren. Private services. In lieu of gifts, donations suggested to Hawaii Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Hilo.
