Douglas "Doug" Y.F. Tam, 84, of Alexandria, VA, died on May 26, 2011. Born in Hanalei, Kauai. Survived by wife Mabel, son Derrick of Annandale, VA, brother Robert of San Francisco, CA, and other family members and friends. Visitation and memorial service to be held at the Community Church of Honolulu, 2345 Nuuanu Ave., Honolulu, from 10 am to 2 pm, June 25, 2011. Aloha attire. No monetary gifts. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice, the National Wildlife Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
