KELLY IKEHARA
KELLY IKEHARA Kelly "Ike" Ikehara, 52, of Henderson, NV passed away May 18, 2011. He was born Nov. 16, 1958, on Kauai, Hawaii, and resided in Nevada for 17 years. He dedicated 20 years of service to our country with pride. After serving in the Gulf War, he retired from the U.S. Air Force, and went to work for Clark County as an airport escort. "Ike" was a friend to all. He was kind hearted and had the "Spirit of Aloha" that drew everyone near. He was an avid New England Patriots fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenichi Ikehara. Kelly is survived by his loving wife, Kim, and their two children, Adam and Ally; mother, Yaeko Ikehara Matsumoto (Toraki); brother, Ken Ikehara (Ardis); sisters, Jean Hirsch (Ron) and Terry Nakakura (Derek); and many nieces and nephews. Kelly's wish was to be returned to Hawaii and once again be embraced by the liquid beauty of the sand and sea against the glorious sunset for eternity. His spirit lives on! Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
