Jeffrey Scott Barbieto, 41, served with the Honolulu Fire Department for 21 years, most recently as a Rescue Technician with Rescue 2, founder and co-owner of Ku'au Rescue, drowned while diving for a commercial firm. He was born in Honolulu and is survived by his parents Alfredo and Katie, wife Myesha, sons Jeffrey (Nalu), Lokahi and daughter Mali'e. Twin brothers Douglas (Dory) and Derrick (Jennifer), a niece, and 6 nephews. Celebration of his life will take place on June 25th at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church on Keolu Drive. Visitation at 9:15am, Pass and review at 10:30am, Mass at 11:00am with fellowship in parish hall until 2:00pm. Celebration Luau to follow at Bellows AFS, public side @3:00pm. Scattering of ashes, 10:00am on June 26, in the waters off Ku'au (Pyramid Rock) on MCBH. Anyone with base access is invited and welcome to attend. Contributions can be made to the Memorial fund established for his children at any Bank of Hawaii location. Aloha attire. Hai'ina (Let's go)!
