Larry Napu‘umanamana Kahaunaele
June 5, 2011 Larry Napu‘umanamana Kahaunaele, 75, of Kapaa, Kauai, a Wailua Beach lifeguard, Coco Palms Hotel bartender, professional entertainer with Joseph Kahaulelio and Aloha Airlines, and an Army veteran, died in Garden Isle Healthcare. He also was a warehouse and delivery truck driver for Universal Delivery and a construction worker for Ding’s Construction. He was born on Oahu. He is survived by daughter Helene Kahaunaele-Akiona; brother David Sr.; sisters Mervlyn Sperry, Dora Swain and Henrietta Kailimai; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at First Hawaiian Church, Kapaa. Services to follow. Scattering of ashes to follow at Anahola Beach Park. Aloha attire.
